Located in Vasa Koilaniou, Limassol district.

Job Duties

The duties and responsibilities include a hands-on role from vineyard maintenance, grape growing, harvesting to the process of wine production. The job responsibilities between the vineyards and the winery vary depending on the season and time of year, therefore some operations are performed during the harvest season whereas other operations will take place during other months and some processes and team members will overlap.

    Viticulture operation

  •         Direct involvement in the viticulture operations such as pruning and training grapevines, canopy management and leaf removal, weeding, planting, wire-clipping, trellising, spraying, harvesting, operating, hand-held tractors, Tractor, etc.
  •         Monitoring and reporting on the conditions of the grapevines, grape growing process, pest and disease controls, harvest coordination and managing the seasonal field crews
  •         Recordkeeping and administrative tasks

    Winery facilities and production

  •         Performing the day-to-day operations of the winery, including packaging, bottling, storing, cellar arrangement, machinery, and production item movements, maintaining the facility clean.
  •         Responsible to assist the Winery Manager to supervise the completion of day-to-day operations of the winery. This includes the wine production process, managing the wine inventory, and training staff

        Participation in sales and promotional activities

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  •     The candidate must have a diploma in horticulture/ viticulture or a related field with a passion for nature and being outdoors. Oenology, winery or vineyard experience will be considered an advantage.
  •     Ability to understand and follow company rules, as well as protective and safety procedures.
  •     Possess the physical ability and efficiency to be able to carry out operations in the vineyards and within the winery.
  •     Understanding and implementing the safe use of vineyard and winery equipment for the team.
  •     Ability to work extended hours for vintage operations or flexible hours in case it is necessary due to certain weather conditions and other circumstances.
  •     Hold a driver’s license.
  •     Possess work ethic, a positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
  •     Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
  •     Ability to communicate in at least English or Greek. Other languages may be considered an advantage.
  •     At least basic level of Computer skills.
  •     Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have problem solving skills.

Working schedule and environment:

The winery and vineyard working hours are:

    Monday until Friday from 7am to 3pm

    Saturday from 7am until 1pm

Working hours and days are subject to change and may be extended in accordance with the time of year, especially during harvest season, normally between August and October. However relevant bonus & overtime payments are offered.
