Pegeia Municipality is celebrating our Black Gold at its Carob Festival! The picturesque location over the fishing shelter and the view of the breathtaking sunset are an extra incentive for you to attend this event, even if you have never tasted carob in your life! Walk around and learn about this versatile fruit with the numerous properties and uses. If you have a sweet tooth, you may enjoy various sweet delicacies made with carobs: carob cookies, anari cheese topped with carob syrup and pasteli.
