Dafermou Winery is currently looking to hire an Agronomist. The position will monitor the vineyard’s health and intervene accordingly to handle pesticides, fertilise, irrigation, prune, and harvest.

The person will be tasked with:

– Monitor the vines for diseases.

– Monitor the water stress level to irrigate accordingly.

– Prepare fertilizing program.

– Prepare a general vineyard work program.

– Manage the field workers.

– Help with winter pruning.

– Monitor the growing stages, and prepare the harvest schedule.

Relevant training will be given where needed. Knowledge of working with tractors is a plus.
